At Community Development Reimagined, we believe green building, sustainability and resiliency are not checklists—they are opportunities to rethink how communities grow, adapt, and thrive.
Our work is grounded in the idea that buildings do not exist in isolation, but as part of larger social, environmental, and urban systems.

We approach every project with a systems-based mindset, recognizing the connections between people, place, and performance.
By integrating sustainability, resiliency, and community development, we help teams move beyond short-term solutions and toward long-term value—for both buildings and the communities they serve.

Community Development Reimagined is led by Diana Giraldo, a sustainability, resiliency, and community development professional with more than 25 years of experience across the public and private sectors.
With a background in architecture, urban design, and management, Diana brings a holistic perspective to every engagement, guiding complex projects from vision through implementation.
Deeply committed to public service, she serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Lee & Hendry Counties, The Horizon Council, serving as the City’s lead representative on housing initiatives across Florida and with community partners, and as a member of the City Council for the City of Fort Myers, bringing hands-on civic leadership and real-world insight to CDR’s mission.
